You wouldn't believe it, but this sweet, innocent looking little Alessi sugar bowl is the most annoying household object I've ever owned. Given to me some years ago by my well-meaning brother I have lost count of the times it has fallen over or the lid has come off and spilled sugar all over the place.
Typical example for "let's make it look nice, usability be damned". Not critical, but annoying as hell.
Having spent time today - again - sweeping up the kitchen floor I decided this was one spill too many.
Looks nice, feels nice, crap to use. Alessi, think again.
